Irish Standard EN 81-28:2003 (IS EN 81-28:2003) is the Irish version of the European Standard EN 81-28:2003. This standard explains the construction and installation of lifts. Throughout this standard the significant hazards, safety requirements, protective measures, information to be provided, tests, markings and notices to be erected are addressed when discussing remote alarms for passenger, passenger and goods lift.The annexes provided in this standard include illustrations that further explain various concepts.
