Irish Standard EN 13015:2001 (IS EN 13015:2001) is the Irish version of the European Standard EN 13015:2001.This standard explains the rules for maintenance instructions. Throughout this standard the elaboration of maintenance instructions, the elements to be taken into account, information to the owner, information for the maintenance organisation,risk assessments,rescue operations, markings,signs,warnings and maintenance handbook format are addressed when discussing maintenance for lifts and escalators.The annexes provided in this standard include tables that further explain various concepts.
